This is an estate lot of numerous rare recordings by Nellie Lutcher (Lewis-married name).Mostly test pressings and alternate versions....super one of a kind rare stuff!!!! 8 discs all together:this first one is probably the rarest of all: 'Kentucky Sure As You're Born' on both sides (possibly part 1 and 2, or just 2 takes) recorded on a home recording disc under her married name 'Miss Nellie Lewis' Aug.28, 1940 . As far as I know, this has never been issued. piano and vocal then there's an audiodisc recording of her and Nat King Cole 'Can I Come In For a Second' b/w 'For You My Love' There are 3 discs recorded at Nardoni Brooks on Capitol discs : He's Real Gone b/w My Mother's Eyes, You'd Better Watch Yourself, Bud b/w Kinda Blue and Low, and Life is Like That b/w Little Sally Walker There are 2 discs recorded at Eccles from March 14, 1947: Bring It On Down To My House Honey b/w Sleepy Lagoon and The One I Love Belongs To Somebody Else b/w You Better Watch Yourself, Bub Lastly, there's a Decca 78 'Please Come Back' b/w 'It's Been Sad' cat# 29464 Combined shipping discount available on multiple purchases!
