This is a high quality Iron core 5 pole skewed armature motor with Neodymium magnets. This motor is 20 mm wide by 22 mm high by 32 mm long. It has a single 2.5 mm shaft. You may substitute the double shaft 20 by 22 by 48 mm!! This listing is 2033 or 2048 single shaft without the gearhead Check other listings for the 2033 with the gearhead and the 2048 double shaft with and without the gearhead and a ratio of 5.5 or 30 to 1. You can buy it now in the Micro LocoMotion ebay store. The magnets are Neodymium which is 35 times as powerful as Alnico this doubles or triples the motor torque. These motors spec at 3 oz inches of torque which is about double or triple the 1833 Mashimas I carry and sell. The secret is Neodymium Rare earth magnets. The faulhaber 2224SR motor has 3 oz inches and neodymium magnets but it is a $150-200 motor. This motor 2232 listed here is one of the most powerful available in the model railroad market.
