Neptune Belleek Teapot Kettle Set 3BM Shell Pink Gold Offering a gorgeous complete twenty-one piece tea set by Belleek! Aptly named after Neptune, the Lord of the Seas, this pretty set incorporates a shell and coral design in an intricate pink and gold pattern. Belleek is renowned for its use of delicate, thin translucent Irish Parian China. Truly, each of these unique pieces is a treasure in itself! Included in this twenty-one piece set, along with approximate measurements: Tea Kettle with Lid 6" tall by 8" wide Platter 11" by 10" Five Cups 4 1/2" long (to edge of handle) by 3 3/4" wide by 2 1/2" tallFive Saucers 5 1/2" diameter Six Bread or Dessert Plates (one for creamer) 6 1/4" diameter Sugar 3" tall by 4 1/2"wide by 5" wide Creamer 4 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" wide. This vintage set has the Third Black Mark used from 1926 to 1946. This mark is the last mark used in what is considered Belleek's highly collectible golden age of production.A beautiful serving set, in excellent vintage condition. The coloring on this set is fantastic and the gold trim is near perfect, with only slight wear on a few saucers. One of the bread plates has a small nick under the rim and t is a small nick on one shell ridge on the teapot. Neither of these distract from display. Other pieces have no chips, cracks or faults.....just perfect. Junipersgirls recently acquired this set from an estate w it was lovingly displayed in a curio cabinet, yet years of display and some sticker residue have left it in need of a cleaning, which we will leave to the lucky new owner of this fine set.
