Our new 2006 plate shows a sweet Yorkie being carried along. Laurelwood has made fine china annual dog breed plates since 1977, and Yorkshire Terrier plates since 1979. Please note that plates are a challenge to photograph and any blurs, spots or glare seen in any photographed plates are the photographs, not on the plate itself. Also, the rims on all plates are actual gold--some photo's make the rims look darker. Laurelwood guarantees your satisfaction. Our plates are 8 inch china with a hand painted gold rim, and a rich brown design. Our plates feature original artwork each year by top canine artists. Designs are fired into the plates,and are not just decals floating on the surface like so many other plate companies make. We concentrate on representing true breed type in each of our 63 breeds. Each year's design is a limited edition of just 150 plates per breed. The reverse side of the plate is marked with the breed name and year and our Laurelwood name. Spots or irregularities in the photo are from shine or glare in the photo. Plates are very hard to photograph!!
