This item is a brand new, hand quilted , hand appliqued flower vine quilt. The fabrics are multiple prints with green print for the leaves and a forest green with gold fleck border. Quite stunning detail work! It measures 78" by 78". It could be used as a daybed quilt, twin quilt, wall hanging, over a chair, over a railing, on a table, in a basket,...the possibilities are endless. It would be a great gift for the quilt lover! Individual pieces are hand appliqued onto a muslin top. Then the quilt is expertly, "ALL HAND QUILTED" at approximately 5 stitches per inch. The fabric is 100% cotton. The batting (inside lining) is polyester, to prevent shrinking. The backing is muslin. The quilt is machine washable (preferably on cold water gentle cycle) and should be line dried to retain quality. The craftsman's quality of this item is excellent. The detail of the quilting stiches, visible on the muslin backing, is fabulous! Feel free to check my feedback for comments from previous quilt buyers.
