Hi, this is a brand new Cold Steel ODA Military Classic knife with a 3/16" thick 7" long epoxy coated Carbon V steel blade,Black checkered kraton handle....38DAC.. & rubber training knife.... This is a straightforward kind of workhorse copy of the famous Randall 1-7 & is very solidly crafted,well balanced & very secure in the hand....... The 7" blade is Carbon V & I have owned quite a few in the past...the large throwers I had were extremely tough steel & able to handle most anything.......... This is a nice weight,not so heavy but with a good solid feel in the hand, the balance point is 1 finger in front & against the guard, (which is actually part of the kraton handle ...it is very comfortable but keeps your hand very secure) the handle gets slightly larger towards the back & offers an secure grip that way also.... this is brand new...... The MSRP is $89 I think on the ODA alone ......this also comes with a near new Cold Steel military classic hard rubber trainer...... Now that carbon V is discontinued,these may be harder to find as time goes.....comes with a nice securex sheath...& the photos show the blade with the original oil/grease still on.....
