's a great safety item, for all outdoorsmen, that has gained significant use in by the US Military. we have an Emergency Rigger Belt.....with 8000lbs tensile strength buckles, and heavily reinforced, and MilSpec stitching. These all meet, and exceed MilSpec requirements.....and as an added plus, these are all made out of 100% US made Dupont Cordura fabric. These serve as an EMERGENCY point, to attach hoists/lifts/rappelling gear, in the event of a quick extraction. This is a great item for Hikers, or any outdoorsmen/women.....as you never know when you need to be airlifted out nowadays. While you can get these, probably cheaper from BlackHawk Industries ........take into account they do NOT use Dupont Cordura, but use Vietnamese nylon fabric. These are all made in Taiwan (Friendly US Ally), and use imported AMERICAN MADE fabric. I have these in 3 Colors, and for different waists.....its not universal.
