Very nice medium sized bail-handled pantry box in a great apple green colored paint, found in Maine--it is 19th century and all original and untouched! The diameter of it's lid measures approx. 9 1/4" across and it stands about 5 1/2" tall, with lid in place. The little wooden handle on the heavy-wire handle, is showing a perfectly aged patina, as is the rest of this great looking pantry box. The condition is very good, showing normal wear as you would want to see and would certainly expect. The construction is also very nice, as this pantry is sturdy and has a good weight to it--not one of those thinly made pantry boxes. I do believe this pantry would make a fine addition to any Americana collection! Shipping on this fantastic bailed-pantry will be $15.00, to include very careful packing, and insurance. International bidders are welcomed, but will pay actual shipping costs, which will be quoted at the end of the auction. Please bid with confidence, as this item is absolutely guaranteed as described. Feel free to ask any further questions, as they are welcomed and will be answered promptly. Take a look at our other auctions for more great early items!
