New England Telephone porcelain sign, not a gas sign
Sold For:
or Sign In to see what it's worth.
Vintage New England Telephone and Telegraph porcelain sign. This sign is single sided and 11 inches square. It still has 2 of the original brass gromments on the left side. Just one chip at the bottom center edge. The sign still has good colors but most of the gloss is gone due to acid rain in the Northeast. The left corner has a thin spot in the cobalt blue porcelain that appears to be a line in the pictures and some small scratches. This sign will still make a great display on your wall. The sign has just a small amount of curve in it when you lay it flat on a table. The back has some surface rust and oxidation on it. It's a good time to update your collection. I know how hard it is to find one in any condition. Please review the pictures that I have enclosed to help you make a decision on whether to bid or not. I tried to carefully show all of the defects or damages on various angles of the item up for auction. All sales are final, please read the description and look at the pictures carefully, (INSURANCE IS OPTIONAL) but I will not be responsible for broken or lost items if insurance is not included. Shipping available to United States only! Payment is required within 5 days after auction closing. Winner will pay actual shipping cost and insurance is optional. I do not charge handling fees, you pay actual cost of shipping and insurance. If you have any questions please send me an email, I will be glad to answer them. Thanks for your interest and enjoy the auction.
