We offer for sale this New Hampshire Four Light Wall Hanging Device Circa 1790 -1810. Created by a talented early New Hampshire Blacksmith in the rural White Mountains area of the Granite State . It is 21 ¾ inches long and approx. 8 ½ inches wide. Mr. Robert Graham Chase collected this wonderful example back in the nineteen sixties and displayed in on the plastered wall of his early kitchen. âeoeBobâe told us he found it in a Thornton , New Hampshire homestead and it was from the late 18 th Century or maybe into the first part of the 19 th Century. Believe us the gentlemen knew his early iron! The surface has some surface rust and pitting which we expect on these authentic early pieces of iron. We canâe(tm)t say enough about the design of this outstanding New Hampshire lighting device; we love it! We feel the loops on the bar are not only design features but can be used to hang it on a peg rack; these racks are common in Northern New Hampshire . Please note the white flecks are from w it was attached to the plaster wall, and some brightness on the metal w the nail go in on the ends when it was removed from the wall. Unique âeoeX" design on the loops w they attach on the front; also note the back joints. Hard to photograph how this device can bring a wall to life, with the soft glow of the four candles. As usual we guarantee the authenticity of our pieces, low starting bid and no hidden reserve. Buyer pays actual USPS Priority shipping to your Postal Zone, insurance is optional.
