This is a new pair of handmade adult size dove style spur straps made by Slim Stevenson. Slim is a long time cowboy who day works on various ranches around the Clarendon, Texas area. He is a real cowboy building saddles and tack when he is not cowboying. The straps are marked STEVENSON , S Bar , and Clarendon, Texas . Slim forms his spur straps to fit to your boots. They are made of medium weight skirting leather and they are tooled with a basket stamp pattern. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. These spur straps are built to last many years. The buckles were made by Robert Evans. They are marked EVANS . They are new handmade steel buckles. They are mounted with engraved german silver and copper. Robert is a bit and spur maker from Amarillo, Texas. His work is illustrated in "BITS AND SPURS, MOTIFS, TECHNIQUES AND MODERN MAKERS" by Ned and Jody Martin. The buckles are attached with chicago screws.
