VOL 1: Sora is a young energetic boy looking forward to exploring the world with his friends Riku and Kairi. The threesome is working hard on completing a raft that will allow them to leave their island but one day a mysterious force causes Sora to gain a special weapon known as the Keyblade. He fights some weird monsters and gets transported to a strange town. Meanwhile, Donald and Goofy leave their castle to search for the king and the chosen one who holds the "key" to saving the world. Sora is attack again by creatures known as Heartless but is helped out by an old man named Cid and a warrior named Leon. He eventually meets up with Donald and Goofy and they join forces to go search for his friends and the King. Vol 2: Sora, Goofy, and Donald Duck continue their magical journey traveling throughout worlds so they can protect everyone with Sora's powerful Keyblade from Maleficent and her evil Heartless minions. Along their journey they encounter new friends, develop powerful new fighting techniques, and even find new clues about Maleficent's preparations to conquer all the worlds. The fate of all beings lies within the power of Sora's Keyblade and the strength of his heart. Vol 3: Kingdom Hearts plunges into an underwater adventure. Monstro the whale swallows Sora and crew. They lend Geppetto and Pinocchio a helping hand to fend off the Heartless. Our heroes dive deeper under the sea to face Ursula the Sea-Witch. When Sora and Riku surface, they must rescue Kairi from Captain Hook on his pirate ship--when it comes to dealing with the Heartless, let your conscience be your guide, and don't forget the pixie dust! Vol 4: The saga comes to a close as Sora, Donald and Goofy are forced to choose between their duty and their friendship to each other. The evil truth becomes apparent as our heroes discover who is really behind Heartless and the Darkness. Each must follow their own heart if they are to succeed and defeat the growing Heartless menace. But the choice will not be an easy one!
