The "miracle" that is Lladro began, as most miracles do, with a dream - the dream of three brothers to create in porcelain. And as with most dreams, that of the Lladro brothers was brought to reality through dedication, ingenuity, cooperation and hard work.

In 1951 they built their first kiln, in which they made small flowers for lamps. It wasn't long before a great demand for these small pieces developed and the Lladro's found it necessary to increase their labor force. Within two years they founded Lladro Porcelain.

Today Lladro is known, admired and collected around the world in more than 120 countries.
