Swedish Artglass New art glass sculpture by Mats Jonasson, Maleras Item description: MASQ, Fleur - Brand new artglass sculpture in lead crystal designed and signed by Mats Jonasson at Mats Jonasson Maleras. Size: 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches or 145 x 90 mm. Condition: Brand new, signed, handmade and delivered in original box. Great prices. 20% - 50% below retail. . Mats Jonasson started at Maleras in 1959 on leaving school at the age of fourteen. The glass works needed an engraver and, since Mats was known to be good at drawing, his father, who was employed t, was asked if his son could start. After some ten years at Maleras Mats moved to Kosta, returning to Maleras in 1975. He has since developed the range of animals motifs that has become famous and has spread all round the world.
