Welcome to Amish Country Primitives! Welcome to my auction! I am so excited about this Santa Claus...he turned out even better than I expected! Once I started him, I just had to keep going as he began to transform into this beautiful doll! He has such a darling expression that just captures you! Every time I look at him, I have trouble parting with him...but he was made to pass on to you! This Santa is 20 inches from head to toe. He is made from grunged muslin material, and firmly stuffed. His nose is hand stitched and beautifully sculpted and his brown eyes have been handpainted. His hair and eyebrows are handstitched curly wool. He wears a jacket, pants, and hat made from cotton that I have grunged and baked. The trim of his jacket is made from cotton batting that has also been grunged with all of your favorite spices, and his button are made from rusty bells and pins.. He has black felt shoes which have been hand stitched, with brown twine laces, and his belt is also from twine. In his left hand, he holds his scrolled "Naughty and Nice" list, and in his right hand he holds a brown burlap bag of rusty, grungy stars, bells, and candy canes with a few sticks of cinnamon and Christmas greens with berries... all of which are beautifully scented with cinnamon scent. His bottom is weighted and his legs are jointed to enable him to sit upon a shelf or in a small chair. He will arrive with a signed and dated grunged tag. He is my own creation and he will be the only one that I make like this, so your new addition will be one of a kind!
