Description New York 7th regiment staff button. Listed in the Record of American Uniform and Historical Buttons by Alphaeus Albert as NY39. Slightly post war but a scarce button. Has 7th Regt above and National Guard below with and eagle and shield. D. Evans & Co. Attleboro, Mass backmark. Excellent condition coat size button. Enlarge photos for more detail.
