I am offering a Dietz Lo-Top Vesta lantern in great condition. It looks to have been used very little and has most of it's original factory plating. This lantern has only been cleaned and has NOT been painted or clear coated. It is 100% original, even has an old wick. The top lid is stamped N.Y.C.S. for New York Central System. The lid also has 4 readable patent dates from 1926 to 1928 but the usual manufacture date is unreadable except the "S" for Syracuse and the last number of the year "9", probably '39 or '49. The clear globe is strongly embossed with the Dietz Vesta logo and CNX for Corning Nonex but not RR marked.
