This auction is for a complete original issue of the New York Times newspaper dated Apirl 16, 1927. The sports page of this vintage newspaper has an article with headline about Babe Ruth's first home run for 1927. The headline says, " YANKS TAKE FINAL FROM ATHLETICS AS RUTH HITS HOMER." This newspaper is 17"x21" and is in excellent condition. 1927 was a wonderful year for Ruth and the Yankees. Please see photos for more info. Thanks.
