This is a outstanding antique and large silver pot which is from the famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. Just recently the last of the Astor family passed away, with the most famous family member being John Jacob Astor. Astor perished on the Titanic and this teapot dates to this period. The teapot is large and heavy and superb in form. With a long gooseneck spout and a beautiful formed handle. It is also a rare hotel collectable because very few of these were produced. T is no silver mark, so I am not sure if this is sterling silver or silver plate. It is marked on the bottom by the makers, "D W HABER & SON NY" With patent numbers, "33994044" Along with the "Waldorf Astoria" mark. Measuring 9.5 inches high by 10.5 inches wide, including handle and spout. THANK YOU.
