Up for auction is a authentic New York Yankees team autographed Rawlings baseball bat. They were obtained from various years from hotels, clubs, at various stadiums, spring training, and signings from back as far as a decade. Autographs on the bat: Derek Jeter, Andy Pettite, Alex Rodriguez, Carl Pavano, Mariano Rivera, Gary Sheffield, Paul O' Neill, Tino Martinez, Gary Sheffield, Roger Clemens, Mike Mussina, Hideki Matsui, David Wells, Randy Johnson, Robinson Cano, Johnny Damon, Jason Giambi, Bernie Williams, Joe Torre (signed '96 '98 '99 '00 WS Champs). The person that got the autographs gave me some background on the autographs obtained - for example derek jeter's autograph was obtained while following him and his then girlfriend, an Indian princess (supposedly), who were driving a silver mercedes to a club in hollywood. after waiting for many hours jeter finished his night at the club and signed a bunch of items for them. Clemens' autograph was obtained when he walked out of a sports authority with his son and told the dealer i bought them from that he would "sign everything they had since they were going to get him to sign it sooner or later." Sheffield's autograph was obtained while the dealer i bought them from was having drinks with him at the hilton and bernie williams' autograph was obtained at the national sports grill. read more
