This exceptionally well done jug measures 6 1/2" tall and 4" wide at its widest point. It is in absolute excellent condition with no chips, cracks or known repairs or even crazing. This piece was made and signed by Lydia Angell. The "Angells leased the New Orleans Pottery and equipment in 1941 and purchased it in 1946 from Paul Cox the famous Newcomb potter according to the book The Newcomb Style Page 96 by Jean Bragg and also in the book Newcomb Pottery by Jessie Poesch. We combine shipping on multiple purchases. Please check our other auctions on Ebay. We ship the following Monday after the auctions ends Wednesday provided payments are verified and received. All auctions must be paid within 5 days of auctions end. We also post feedback as soon as it is received from the buyer and not until then.
