For sale is a scarce 1624 Germany Taler ( Thaler ) from Saxony ( Saxony-Albertine) graded by NGC AU 58 ( vz - st ). This coin is scarce in AU 50 and higher grades and rare in MS grades. This coin can be found in the Standard Catalog of German Coins 3rd Edition on page 1063, listed as KM# 132. Note - Ref. Dav. 7601. I have seen these Saxony Thalers go for very high prices in Heritage and Kunker auctions when they are in good condition. In German, the state is Sachsen - Albertinische Linie.
