NGC Lincoln Wheat Cent Split Planchet Before Strike BU NGC 195X Lincoln wheat cent struck on a split planchet before strike. The coin shows a very weak strike on both sides (because of insufficient metal to fill the dies), and weighs only 1.5 grams instead of the normal 3.1 grams. The reverse side is the rough, split side. NGC doesn't grade split planchets.
