This is an auction for one of just a handful of NGC MS69PL (Proof-Like) 2013 £20 Half-Ounce .999 Silver Coins to garner a "69" out of 70 and also the proof-like designation.This is the United Kingdom's first ever £20 Pound coin, struck by the Royal Mint - the same mint that was making coins 1,000 years ago! Valuable for several reasons, for instance a first-year coin, it sold out in days with only 250,000 minted, it has a face value of £20 Pounds Sterling or roughly $32.00 USD along with it's silver melt-value. A hefty half-ounce of .999 was used for these coins, displaying the famous "George and the Dragon" see on the most popular world coin, the British Sovereign!
