I disclose everything I can in description of items even the minor flaws that are often not very noticable. I don't sell anything I wouldn't approve of as I am a picky collector myself. No Junk ! DESCRIPTION TERMINOLOGY: Shelf Wear = superfical light scrachy marks on the box. This is from rubbing of items together or from coming on and off the retail store shelf. It may include some wearing off of the box color. If the box is a dark color, shelf wear shows quite easily even if the item has not been handled very much. Often you will see this from items from the factory as the factory over handles or poorly packs the items before shipped to the retail stores. I will disclose if shelf wear is a little or allot. If an item is older or out of production you will often find shelf wear from aging. Frayed = is when the paper of a box is ruffed up or torn mostly on the corners or edges of the box. This happens with serious shelf wear or poor packing or storage of a box. Creases = are lines from the box having bend in and then back into it original shape. Creases are not dents or do no mean the box or item has been crushed. This crease can be with the box or the clear plastic window. Plastic windows often get scrated up real easy with minimal handling and often come out of the newly shipped case that way. Manufacturing machines can cause this as they transport the items. Its rare to find a mint Plastic window. Don't expect that from most sellers including me on ebay. Its nearly impossible to get a scratch free window. Dents = are indentations on a box but not crushed or torn. Like car dings from the parking lot. Crushed = means box is in pretty bad shape but I will note if the item inside is still new, unused or mint. A box can be crushed in and the item inside is unharmed. If you take your collectables out of the package to display then you may not be concerned about the box condition. If I am selling a box is which is damaged then the item inside is unharmed. I do not sell broken items!!! Torn = means item is ripped or torn or a part of the box label has come off. I will list how big or long or deep the tear is. I don't often sell items like this but if the collectable is of high value I will. THe box can look junky but the item inside is new.
