An Original 27 X 41 One Sheet poster for the classic 1953 film noir “Niagara” starring Marilyn Monroe. Monroe plays Rose Loomis a beautiful young and attractive woman married to an older military veteran, George Loomis. The relationship between them is abusive and there are rumors that while serving during war George was once sent to a mental hospital. George is jealous and irritated at any man who looks at his wife. Rose begins cheating on her husband because of their estranged relationship and plots to kill him one day. Rose and her lover Patrick’s attempt at killing George are unsuccessful and for the rest of the film George goes on a rampage trying to find Rose and run away from the police. This One Sheet poster is one of the very best Marilyn Monroe posters there is, as it shows an eerie image of her over Niagara Falls. Monroe was NEVER more beautiful than as Rose Loomis in this film. Most will agree this was her best film as her beauty completely stole the spotlight. This particular example is in immaculate condition and was needless put on linen for display purposes only.
