Pictured is a very early Bark River WhiteTail Huntsman with a genuine Sambar Stag Handle . This was the early day when Mike Steward was just starting up and he was producing many prototypes. This knife is marked with his company logo on one side and Prototype on the other side of the blade, (see pictures) Knife is fitted with a Sambar Stag Handle pinned to the full carbon steel tang with mosaic pins, Nickel Hilt and a 3 3/8" blade , Knife OAL - 7 1/4". A poperly marked BRK&T sheath and original box is included . Mike was the past President of BLACKJACK KNIVES , one of the best all around knives ever made. When Mike and his group started production knives again it was under the name of Bark River Knife & Tool and he continues to use the same fine quality and craftsmanship in his new like of knives. If you want one of the first Whitetail Series Huntsman produced is you chance. Prototypes were produced on a very limited production run and this one is MINT IN BOX and has never been in the sheath. The cloudiness on the blade is the protective coating still in tact. Knife comes and it came from Bark River NEW and Unused and Never Sharpened outside the factory.
