These chimes are built to endure. ~ Their corrosion protected tempered aluminum alloy tubing is custom-manufactured to exacting specifications. It will not rust or corrode or lose its precision tuning. Rings are stainless steel. Their high density polyethylene clappers will last indefinitely outdoors, withstanding sunlight, rain, and mildew. Their tough synthetic cord is highly resistant to abrasion and decay. To minimize cord wear, tubes are centrally suspended and their ends are finely polished. These chimes are maintenance free. ~ They will last longest hung in a sheltered or shaded location. They should be suspended securely a safe distance from objects such as windows which might be battered during unexpectedly high winds. They should be taken down for safety's sake whenever severe weather threatens.
