They were made by Villeroy & Boch of Luxembourg. They are called the "Le Cirque" Pattern, which features Various Multicolored Circus Scenes. Coupe Cereal Bowl - 5-1/4" in Diameter x 2-1/4" High - Features Stars and Circus Animals, e.g., Lion, Giraffe, Monkey, Elephant, Horse, Dolphin - (Sells on for $79.95 + S&H) 1-Handled Mug - 3-1/2" High, 3-1/8" Top Diameter, 4" Wide (includes handle) - Features Stars, 2 Circus Clowns, and Ringmaster - (Sells on for $39.99 + S&H) Salad/Sandwich Plate with Burgundy Band - 8-1/4" in Diameter - Features 2 Elephants, a Tiger, and 2 Harem Dressed Trainers - (Sells on for $27.99 + S&H) The Artwork on all pieces is the work of French Artist, Jean A.
