This auction is for a nine piece teaset in the 'Old Country Roses' design by Royal Albert. It is made from white china trimmed with gilt and bears colorful rose flower decoration in red, pink, yellow and green. The set comprises four cups, four saucers and an oval serving plate. Each cup measures 3 and 1/4'' by 4 and 3/8'' (including the handle), the saucers are 5 and 3/8'' across and the plate measures 9 and 7/8'' by 5 and 3/8''. The set is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and no loss of paintwork or gilding. The base is marked as shown. This comes in the original box. An excellent addition to an existing set or as a gift.
