12 in. Signed STUEBEN Ealge James Houston, 1964 Available for auction is a beautiful Stueben Glass Eagle, designed by James Huston in 1964. This popular design continues to be sold and now retails for $1000 . Anyone interested in this piece will already know that Stueben is the premier art glass house in North America. James Houston is not only an amazing designer, but a truly inspirational person - an outdoorsman, author, filmmaker, artist - accomplished in all areas. You can learn more about him and his life's work at http://www.houston-north-gallery.ns.ca/jameshouston.htm the website for the Houston North Gallery, started by the Houston family to bring Inuit art and culture to the rest of the world. The particular eagle for auction has been in my attick but has never been displayed (received as an award but my kids will break it). T are no chips, cracks, stratches, or defects of any kind. It is in perfect showroom condition. This eagle is approximately 12" wide by 6.5" high and nearly 3lbs. It's original flannel storage bag, cloth box and Stueben brochure are included. All hotshopped pieced are individually hand made and unique. I blow glass myself from time to time and know how to psoperly box glass peices! This item will be shipped priority mail within the US and via appropriate service to N. and S. America. Insurance is required (included in shown shipping price).
