REALISTIC NOVA-16 SPEAKERS RADIO SHACK Fabulous find ! Two (2) New Old Stock Realistic Nova-16 Speakers from Radio Shack. Dated 1989 Tandy Corporation. These speakers have never been used. One was removed from the box for pictures; the other one still has its original wrapping/packing. Below is information from the pamphlet enclosed with the speaker: "The Nova-16 is a two-way, bass-reflex speaker system that achieves excellent low-end response. Bass-reflex designs yield greater efficiency and lower harmonic detortion than accoustic suspention systems." "The 2 1/2" wide-dispersion tweeter provides higher sound-pressure levels per watt, allowing you to use lower-powered receivers or to drive your existing high-powered amplifier more conservatively. You are less likely to encounter clipping from your amplifier. That means less distortion and cleaner sound."
