Beautifully Designed Original 1864 Dated Confederate $50 With President Jefferson Davis This is a beautifully designed original 1864 dated Confederate states of America $50 bill. This is the version with the likeness of Jefferson Davis in the center. Jefferson Davis from Mississippi was the 1st and only President of the Confederacy. It is the stately view of the President that makes the note stand out from the rest. This note is in nice circulated condition and 100% authentic. It is correctly hand signed in ink and has the stamped serial numbers. It has the issue date of February 17th 1864 as well as the Richmond, Virginia mark. On the back of the note it has the large "FIFTY" in the center with the numerals in the corners. The back has the nice blue tone ink. This is the pattern listed as figure T-66 in Criswell's book on Confederate currency. This piece of currency is in attractive circulated condition. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation. Being sold at no reserve so you guys set the price. Due to time constraints we of are unable to check e-mails daily.
