A pair of outstanding Octagonal Chinese belt buckles.
Beautiful Mother Of Pearl bases, mounted in solid silver, depicting a continuous hand-carved flowery scene, in the panels a solid Silver Chinese Charakter is attached. The rims of the Silver mountings form a Bamboo motif. Age: c. 1920's Signature/Marks: It has an imprinted silver mark that looks like a S & 8, The Chinese character next to it could be a signature. (see images aswel) Dimensions: 2.5 in. x 1. 5/8 in. ( 57mm x 41mm ) Weight: Total weight c. 40 grams (0,04 KG) Condition: T is an almost invisible 1mm hairline in the M.O.P. furthermore no repairs, restorations or chips.
