Crafted from solid cherry, this queen size bed features very tall posts with nice lincoln drape style carvings and fluted posts. This is a contemporary example but quality constructed. I do touch up work for several large new furniture stores and I know that a new bed of this quality sells for thousands. Although not brand new, this bed is in very nice condition showing signs of light normal use. Lets move on to the pictures w I will describe it further. MEASUREMENTS: 89 1/2" long and 64" wide. The flat part of the headboard stands 45" tall while the footboard stands 20" tall. The posts are all the same height... a huge 89" tall. The mattress area is 60 1/2" wide by 82" long. The bottom of the box spring will rest 14" from the floor. All items come as pictured and shown so no, we do not have slats with this bed. It never had slats. The box spring is designed to sit right on the rails. Some views of the headboard. One finial has been broken off but is repaired nicely. You won't notice the repair. Carving on posts.
