This cut glass pitcher was given to us by my wife's Godmother (96) and was purchased by her mother, but I do not know when they would have originally purchased it. If I had to guess, I'd say in the 1920s, but not sure. I am not knowledgable in glassware, so my hope is that you can recognize the piece from the pictures. It is heavy, has a 5.75" base, and is 7.5" tall. It appears in good condition; I can't find any cracks or chips. I've looked at some other auctions to see what I might need to look for, such as if t are any cracks w the handle attaches to the pitcher. T are none. We've displayed this for years, but have rarely used it ourselves, so are ready to let it go. The glass rings when tapped with a finger. I saw another pitcher for auction recently that was identified as American brilliant that looked similar but not identical to this. I will be putting other cut glass ware up for bid, please check my other items. The pattern on the other items doesn't match the patterns on this pitcher, but all belonged to my wife's Godmother. I will pack this well, and insure it.
