This nice vintage Corning Ware Corn Flower Electromatic Skillet Hot Plate is from my father's estate. The Corningware skillet has been in clean, dry storage for many years and is in excellent working condition. This is a 3 piece set, Model P-12-ES. The electric base heats up quickly and the control dial on the side adjusts from 200 degrees to 450 degrees. The metal plate next to the dial lists temperature settings for many foods. The skillet measures 15" from handle to handle and cooking surface is 10 ¾" x 10 ¾". The electric base is very clean and t are no cracks, chips or repairs. Included with the electric base is a 10" Pyroceram Covered Dish that fits securely on the base. The dish i s decorated with the cheerful vintage Corning Blue Cornflowers. The dish has a couple of very fine utensil marks, but t are no other chips, cracks or repairs. The glass lid is in good condition. T is a tiny ¼" discolored flaw on the edge, but it is smooth to the touch and not a chipped out. Please see photo. This does not affect the use of the lid. Different sized Corning dishes can also be used with the electric base. This great vintage skillet is wonderful for entertaining and would make a great addition to any kitchen collection!
