This is an unusual Japanese Satsuma cookie jar with gold foo dog finials on the sides and top. It depicts deities on the front and back. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece is marked 'made in japan' on the bottom and measures 7" tall and 8" across. Please email us at with any questions you may have regarding this or any of our other fine pieces. Paypal is our preferred method of payment. We do accept personal checks, money orders, and cashier's checks from buyers within the US. For buyers outside the US, Paypal is the only accepted method of payment. Personal checks are held for 10 days. Buyers have 7 days to contact us after the close of sale to notify us of intended payment method. By default, we ship via USPS Priority Mail for US buyers and USPS Airmail Parcel Post for buyers outside the US. Buyers may request a different shipping method or service and we will accommodate these requests w possible. We have a 3 business handling period after payment clears. Insurance is optional, but strongly encouraged. We are not responsible for items that are damaged during shipping. Buyers may request combined shipping on multiple items, however, we grant these requests at our own discretion with the safety of the item in mind. We guarantee items will be packed in the condition in which they are sold. If an item is damaged in our possession, we will provide a full refund including shipping. All items are sold 'as is'. We do not accept returns. We describe all of our items and their condition to the best of our ability.
