Offered for auction is this group of great looking Zippo cigarette lighters from the 1940's and 1950's. Two are from just afterWorld War II and were made between 1947 and 1957, just about the time when the Korean War was starting and the other is a little later and a great looking advertisement on front. The early ones both have the "PAT#2032695" on bottom and inserts have the correct patent number also. These examples are in overall well kept condition and still have their original 3 and 5 barrel hinge's and Zippo signed insides, so a MUST HAVE! for the dead serious Military or advertising lighter collection, super addition to any type of lighter collection. The lighter are full size and the one is in solid steel with chrome finish to the entire case in presentable all original condition with a great applied plaque decoration that looks Asian, so must have been a prized possesion back in the war days and RARE to find all original early war lighters anymore. Also is a advertiser for Microtron Air Filters from the mid 1950's with #2517191 and "Pat. Pend." on bottom. A beauty that's been well cared for over the years. The last example is a 1947-49 three barrel hinge model with a 1945 Lincoln Cent applied to the front and was commonly used as a Good Luck charm. The 2 early lighters were acquired from a US Army veterans estate that served
