... It was salvaged from an early Javanese house. .Houses t were decorated inside and out with carved ornamentation. Most of them are TEAK or some similar exotic wood. Today, t is a trend to use architectural fragments such as these as interior décor objects. Woodworkers have created fascinating pieces using even some of my smaller carvings. I have seen my carvings adorn mirror frames, book racks, plate shelves, and door panels in a variety of unique designs. I have seen some of my more jagged and weatd fragments mounted on pedestals much like works of art. However, the majority of my carvings are simply hung on the wall creating a truly one-of-a-kind decorative statement. Since this carving is old, it may or may not have some roughness, cracking, chipping, wood deterioration, dirt, hand tool marks, nails,old repairs , insect damage and nail holes all of which make it perfect as a decorative element.Please ask questions before you bid. I only ship to the contiguous 48 US States and I charge a fixed rate for this shipping.I ship most items U.P.S. so..........I will need a physical address to ship to.......... Please note the shipping charge above. PayPal payments will get same or next day shipping. Money order payments will be shipped the day the MO arrives ( U.S.P.S. prefered ). Personal checks need to clear before shipment - PLEASE if you do not want to wait , do not pay with a personal check. Been having a lot of trouble with photo details and colors, so colors may or may not be exact as you see them, but I am trying, unless noted I try to give different views of ONE item.
