This violin comes from the collection of the well known professional viola player Mr.George Evstatiev ( in the lates 1950's and 1960's viola teacher in Austria, Tunisia and Germany, later long years member of the National Opera Orchestra in Sofia). He collected violins, violas and bows. T is label inside the violin: Pietro Floriani /1858/Riva Benacense Measurements Length 362 mm Width U.B.164 mm Width M.B 111mm Width L.B. 208 mm The violin has only some small, very well repaired cracks on the top ( no bass bar or sound post cracks) and is in very good condition .Nice ebony fittings with Hill chinrest. The peg holes bushed. The violin has new set of strings (Infeld Vision) and is ready to play. In my opinion the sound is nice,power and rich. No case or bow with the violin.
