Vienna Regulator In Rare Shape Two Weight Driven about 1880 Take a look at this wonderful original Vienna Regulator. This clock comes from an old Black Forest clockmaker estate, and we bought it three month ago in Furtwangen at Germans biggest Antique clock fair. The clock is in complete original condition. Only the wooden movement holder that is mounted on the movement is a replacement made by a clockmaker, because the original one was damaged. Otherwise everything is in original condition. The complete clock case is clean, as you can see at the detailled pictures. The sides have glass, and everything is in very good original condition. The front door has typical tension cracks at the bow on the top. Also is a little restored corner on the left side on the top. Take a look at the original enamel dial. It is in near mint condition. Only a very small hairline arround the left winding hole tells you the age of nearly 130 years. The original hands are made of blued steel. The movement was just checked by a master clockmaker. It has no signature, so it was not a factory made clock like Gustav Becker, Lenzkirch or Resch. Many clockmaker in Austria build fantastic clocks like this one, and they did not mark the movements. The original weights have some boils, but if you want, we can ship this clock with new replacement weights in original style. Please let us know at the end of the auction. The Vienna Regulator comes with the original krank key. Everybody will be envious when this clock will be a part of your exclusive home !!
