~ THICK HEAVY VINTAGE HUDSON BAY 4 POINT WOOL CAMP BLANKET ~ The evenings are getting nice & chilly in Maine, so I fetched some wonderful warm blankets that were carefully stored away in my 70-something auntie's closet... the blankets I chose to sell for her have not been used much at all in the past and definitely not recently! This first one is a fantastic vintage 100% wool traditional Hudson Bay blanket made in England that she lovingly refers to as a camp blanket, and it's in super condition with plenty of life left to keep you warm & cozy for this season and many winters to come. It measures 65" x 88" with the oatmeal colored background, stripes in green, black, red & yellow and has four stripes or points. This is fabulous felted wool which makes it nice & thick, heavy & yet it's oh so very soft... not scratchy! Even though it's vintage mid 20th century, it is very clean, smells nice'n fresh and has no stains, and only one teensie hole as shown in my very close-up photo! It is heavy, thick and gorgeous... so snuggle up!
