is avintage album with a group of photographs taken by someone in the military at the time of the Korean conflict that we received recently. T are 58 photos in this album, mostly of the type one would expect of an amateur photographer in quality and choice of subject as our sample shows. T are a couple of a battlefield too distant to see much beyond some smoke rising from several distant areas. I'd guess this soldier took the photos more as remembrances of his friends and the general situation. Some seem to be in winter with snow on the ground. I'd say based on others that the location was fairly close to the front. We see one reference in a photo to the 7th Marine Division and a couple photos refer to a friend and his truck so this person may have been in a transport company or similar, don't know. T is a 59th photo way in the back of the album and seems to probably be the soldier standing next to a very new looking home, probably some years later after returning from war. THat's about it. We tried to provide a good group of pictures that are a sample of the type of photos found within. We'll start this old or vintage photo album from the front line area of the Korean War low so enjoy the auction. When packed the album will weigh about 4 lbs so we'll use USPS Mediam Mail at a fixed rate of $3.15 as the lowest cost postal alternative
