NICHOLS FIGHTING KNIFE These rare and unique fighting knives were produced by Floyd Nichols of David City Nabraska. The sheath was made by his friend of Floyds, Alfred Cornish who made sheaths for many WW2 knife makers. Mr. Nichols was a WW1 vet and an artist who loved all things western. A cowboy at heart. He had his name stamped in the pommel and sometimes on the early knives he would have a nickel or penny put in the pommel. This knife has the indian head nickel. These knives were ordered by the family of the soldier going off to war. (there was a shortage of knives during that period) The soldier would have there name and serial number stamped into the blade and the scabbard. Steel blade with brass handle in fine condition. One of the nicest Cornish sheaths I have seen. I have other rare knives that are not listed yet. I can be reached at nine o three, seven three six, six eight eight o. Of course returns are excepted with out question, and I will pay all shipping cost to your door
