This is a mint in the box pair of models of HO scale 40' baggage car and 47' combination cars made after the Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad prototypes. These models were made by the Nickel Plate Car Company of Hanover Park Ill.. Cars are in the original Nickel Plate Car Company box, and is marked as item numbers CF-7 and MD-24. These are highly detailed etched brass craftsman kits, and require a degree of modeling skill to assemble. The kit does not come with wheels, couplers or decals. First picture shows the etched brass car sides, and ends with the pre-made roof sections. Second picture shows truck side frames, and bag of detail parts.Not shown in the picture but included are the floor sections, and misc. strip plastic for the underframe details. The kit comes with a very detailed fifteen page set of instruction sheets. The third picture shows the title from the assembly instruction sheet.
