Offered is a vintage Nicodemus Art Pottery covered dish that measures 3.5 inches tall by 7.25" in diameter. The piece is in great condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, fading, crazing, signs of excessive use or abuse or damages of any kind. The piece is clearly signed "Nicodemus" on its bottom (pic. # 7), and I see what I believe to be the item's original price written in pencil--"3.95" as well. The covered dish appears in an almost electric yellow glaze, and I see that the piece has a nice simple mushroom-shaped finial. I also see simple lines around the finial, as well as on the upper sides of the lower dish. The piece is made from the typical ferrostone clay used by the pottery, and I see that the glaze allows the colorful clay to show through, which creates an almost drip glaze effect on the dish.
