Lucerne and Mount Pilatus Nicolas Markovitch (1894-1964) was a successful watercolour artist who specialised in landscapes and architectural views. His works were so popular that Stehli Freres, the Swiss print makers produced quality Lithographs of many of his works. The quality is so good that many believe the prints are the original water colours. He signed his paintings 'Markovitch' and his prints 'Marc, or 'A Marc'He painted many European scenes and this lithograph is of Lucerne and Mount Pilatus in Switzerland. The Lithograph is already framed behind glass (see picture) and I have not disturbed it. Please have a look at my other items. There may be something to interest you.
