Up for auction is the first snowglobe that Disney produced for the movie "Nightmare Before Christmas". It was released in the late 90s, and I was the original purchaser (from the Disney Store) back then. It is a wonderful piece, depicting Jack and Sally standing in front of the moon on top of Spiral Hill. Two batteries (included and installed) are needed to turn the light on. When wound, the enchanting Danny Elfman melody "This is Halloween" plays. It stands approximately 8" tall and is about 6" wide. It has all the charming characters on it: Jack and Sally in front of the moon, Zero on the top of the globe, the Mayor, Dr. Finkelstein, Oogie Boogie, Lock, Shock, and Barrel all around the base. Santa is poking his had out of the trick or treat bag that LSB captured him in. It is made of resin. Bats and glitter float inside the globe, and t are no bubbles at all. The Mayor's hat and Shock's had were broken off and super glued back on. Those defects are unnoticeable. Everything else about the globe, including its original black box, look absolutely delightful. High bidder please pay $17.00 within the lower 48, depending on destination. I know it's a little on the expensive side for shipping, but I will pack very carefully and take precauctions that it arrives to you in the same condition as it left me.
