ANTIQUE VICTORIAN / CIVIL WAR and EARLIER HEARING AID DEVICE COLLECTION NINE (9) PIECES IN ONE AUCTION NO RESERVE! T are nine pieces crudely mounted on this single piece of plywood. Each piece is wired to the board and can easily be removed; I chose to keep them mounted on the board, and digitally separated the pieces from a high resolution photo so you can examine each individually while the pieces retain the limited protection that comes from their mounting. The size of the plywood board is about 25" wide by 21"tall. Dimensions of each piece can be roughly calculated from that. I have not removed pieces from the board so I am not sure of any markings on any piece. The little white tags hanging from each piece is old, and appears to be a stock number of some sort probably applied by the museum or collector. One piece, the small cup-look grey-metal device near top center of the main photo (detail below), I am told is actually from the 1700's and appears to be pewter, except that one antique dealer told me he was certain it is actually silver (I don't know). The remaining pieces are apparently from the mid nineteenth century (civil war and victorian era) of various materials. I've tried to get you the best photos I can so you can decide for yourself. The auction winner gets the entire board with all pieces mounted exactly as shown. I've checked past auctions for antique hearing aid devices , and the opening bid appears to be a steal for all nine devices. Several are no doubt worth over $200 each. I'll let you, the knowledgeable collectors in this arena decide. Payment to be by PayPal only, payment expected to be within 3 days of auction close. Shipping to US only. Shipping to be USPS Priority Mail, insurance required. Shipping cost based on the heavy weight of 12 pounds, oversize box, your zip code and a $3.00 handling fee to cover tape, packaging materials beyond what USPS supplies, gas to post office, etc. Please note for the photo above- the horn on the bottom is complete- see full picture- this only appears to be missing a part due to my digital fixing when this item overlapped another on the board.
